Plan your trip to our undergraduate Open Days. Train or bus travel Edinburgh Waverley train station and Edinburgh Bus Station are within walking distance of our Central campus, but buses and taxis are available, too. Air travel Edinburgh International Airport is about 12km from the city centre. You can get to the city centre in 30 minutes by using the frequent airport bus or tram services, or by taxi. Car, private coach or minibus travel We strongly recommend that you travel to the University using public transport, as parking near our campuses will be extremely limited. Travel between campuses You can travel between our campuses on foot, using public transport or using our free shuttle bus service for some campuses. Accommodation Edinburgh offers lots of accommodation options, so you can choose to stay overnight and spend more time exploring the city. ParkingParking on our University campuses is only available to Open Day visitors with accessibility requirements who have arranged this with us in advance. We strongly recommend using public transport where possible.Left luggageWe are sorry that we are unable to store luggage for visitors on Open Days.
