What are minimum entry requirements? We give extra consideration to applicants who have faced certain barriers that could make attending university more challenging. One way we do this is by having a set of minimum entry requirements which are normally lower than the standard entry requirements we expect applicants to meet. We also refer to these as ‘widening access requirements’. Minimum entry requirements are always expressed as a single set of grades regardless of qualification type, for example: SQA Highers: ABBB A levels: ABB IB: 34 points with 655 at HL Who is eligible for an offer at the minimum entry requirement? Typically, we will make you an offer at the minimum entry requirement if we assess that you qualify for a widening access Plus Flag offer.
