If you are assigned a Flag, you’ll be prioritised for a place on degree programmes where competition for places is high. You will still need to meet the standard entry requirements if you are assigned a Flag. We will usually make you an offer before making offers to others who have achieved the same grades but who are not eligible for any type of widening access offer. Offers are usually made to applicants who have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, the top of our standard entry requirement range (where one is stated) or the standard entry requirements. However, if competition for places is higher than expected, you may need grades above that level to receive an offer.
