Clearing for International and European Union applicants

Am I eligible for Clearing?  

Clearing will be available to you if:

• you have a fee status of ‘Overseas’ or ‘EU EEA Overseas’. If you normally live in a country outside of the UK or Republic of Ireland you are likely to be assessed as having ‘Overseas’ or 'EU EEA Overseas' tuition status;

and

• you are not holding any offers from another University, or you currently hold an Unconditional Firm offer at another University but wish to be released into Clearing to apply elsewhere;

or

• your UCAS status says 'You are in Clearing' or 'Clearing has started'.

Do not release yourself into Clearing until we have confirmed that you will receive an offer.

Step-by-step guide to applying 

Step 1: check that we have vacancies for the degree you want to study  

Check that we have vacancies for the degree you want to study on the UCAS website. You can’t apply through Clearing for a degree that has no vacancies.  

Our vacancies change very frequently, so even if you checked recently, check again immediately before beginning the application process.

Step 2: check that you meet the entry requirements 

Check that you meet the entry requirements as stated on the UCAS website. 

You must have already received your results.

Step 3: complete our application form 

Complete our application form for Clearing for international and EU applicants. A member of our admissions team will email you if you are eligible for an offer.

Do not complete the application form if:

• You have Scotland or Rest of UK fee status.
• You do not meet our entry requirements or are waiting for your results.
• You have already used the form.
