Discovery Day is designed for anyone considering on-campus postgraduate study at the University of Edinburgh.

I enjoyed the focus on current student experiences and the opportunity to engage with each session. It felt immersive and personal without feeling intimidating.

What this session includes

Across a full day of interactive sessions, you’ll gain practical advice on everything from applying and funding your studies to finding accommodation and choosing the right programme for you.

You’ll also hear directly from our current students and recent graduates as they share their personal experiences of life and study in Edinburgh, along with their top tips for success.

In addition to these essential topics, many of our academic schools run live programme-focused events in parallel with Discovery Day. These give you the chance to explore specific courses or research opportunities in more detail and connect with the academics who will teach and inspire you.
