Degree certificates and academic transcripts

You need to provide copies of your degree certificates and transcripts of your academic record to support your application.

Upload transcripts from all degrees

As part of your online application, you will need to upload a degree certificate and an academic transcript for each degree you hold, not just your most recent qualification.

If you have not yet graduated, you should upload an interim transcript for any degree programmes that you are currently studying.

What an academic transcript contains

An academic transcript states:

  • your name
  • the institution you studied at
  • all courses taken
  • all grades received (including in each unit or module)
  • degree awarded (including degree class)

It should provide full details of the degree class and grades you received in each unit or module.

An interim transcript provides similar information for degrees you are yet to complete. It may also show your expected grade or level of award if you are near the end of the programme of study.

The Diploma Supplement provided by a large number of European institutions is not equivalent to an academic transcript, and we do not accept it for application or offer purposes.

Where to get a copy of your academic transcript

You should contact your institution's academic registrar or registry department (or equivalent) and ask them to issue your academic transcript. We do not accept personal electronic copies of your student record.

Translations needed for non-English transcripts

If your transcripts are not in English, you will also need to submit a certified translation.
