Support for international applicants

We offer help, advice and application support to all international applicants.

Get support for your application

We run information sessions for international applicants, offer holders and pre-departure briefings for those about to start their studies at Edinburgh.

Our information sessions are offered online, and you will be sent an invite to attend.

We also visit a range of countries to give in-person presentations to applicants.

Get application advice in your country or region

We work with a network of agents that can guide you through the application process and advise on immigration matters.

The British Council also provides advice to applicants and can help you plan your studies.

International qualifications we accept

We accept a wide range of international qualifications to meet our entry requirements for postgraduate degree programmes.

Immigration support service

You can get advice from our Student Immigration Service. Their experienced Immigration Advisers are available to assist with visa help, from the initial stage of applying to study in the UK through to graduation.

Our Immigration Advisers can also advise you on bringing your family to Edinburgh or working during or after your studies.

Scholarships

We offer a limited number of scholarships and funding opportunities to international students.
