For example, if you study 50 credits, made up of two 20-credit courses and one 10-credit course, you can add up the cost of each course to get a total cost. For part-time intermittent programmes where this total is not listed, you can calculate the total by adding up the cost of each course you study. Research programmes (Scottish and Rest of UK fee rate) If you pay the Scotland or Rest of UK fee rate, your tuition tuition fees might increase annually. We recommend you factor in a 5% inflation rate when calculating fee rates for future years. To calculate your total tuition fees for the Scotland and Rest of UK fee rate, first calculate the cost of each year. This will either be a confirmed fee or one you have to estimate by multiplying the previous year's fee rate by 1.05%. Once you have the fee for each year of study, add these together to get your total tuition fees.
