Our Open Days are a great opportunity to find out about studying with us from our staff and students.

Our next Open Days

Our next undergraduate Open Days will take place at the University on:

  • Monday 22 June
  • Saturday 26 September
  • Saturday 24 October

Edinburgh College of Art Open Day

Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) will be participating in these Open Days and will hold an additional Open Day on Monday 1 June to coincide with the ECA Graduate Show.

Programme

The programme for each Open Day will be available when registration opens. Most Open Day activities will take place between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm. 

All subject areas will be represented on every date, but the programme of activities may vary between Open Days.

For example, there will be no opportunity to visit our Medical School campus or Veterinary Medicine campus on 24 October, as this date falls after the early UCAS deadline for these subject areas.

Booking

A booking is required for our Open Days in 2026. We expect that registration will open at the start of May for our June event, and the end of August for our September and October events.

We recommend that you do not make travel arrangements until your place at an event has been confirmed. If you choose to do so before you have a confirmed place, we cannot guarantee space at some Open Day activities if they become fully booked.

If an event is cancelled

We will explore all options to avoid cancelling on-campus events. However, there may be rare occasions where events or sessions are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. 

We are unable to accept liability for any costs you might incur, such as travel or accommodation. Therefore, you may wish to consider travel insurance or flexible tickets.
