How to access Virtual Open Days

When you register for this event, you will be asked to choose which sessions you want to attend. Links to join those sessions will appear on your e-ticket, which we will send to you by email.

Registering and confirmation of your booking

When you get to the registration form, you should:

  1. Select the sessions you wish to attend.
  2. Complete all other details on the registration form and click 'Submit'.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking with a link to your event 'e-ticket' and instructions on how and when you can join the event.

On the day of the event, you will receive a reminder email to join the event which will also contain the link to your event e-ticket.

You can access your session links through your booking confirmation or event reminder emails. 

On your e-ticket, you will see a full list of the individual sessions you have registered for, arranged by date and time.

To join a session:

  1. Find the session on your e-ticket.
  2. Click the joining link (the link normally becomes clickable 15 minutes before the session starts).
  3. Follow any additional joining instructions on the page.

Getting to your next live session

If you have opened a new browser tab to participate in a session, close that tab and return to your e-ticket.

If you have closed this tab in your browser, you can retrieve it in the email we send you on the day of the event.

Support during the event

As well as your chosen sessions, you will also see entries on your e-ticket to help support you during the event.

Open day ‘Drop-in’ sessions

These are one-to-one text-chat sessions, open at different times during the event, to help you make the most of the event. We will do our best to answer any questions you have.

 You should use these sessions if you have general questions about:

  • the event
  • postgraduate study in general
  • basic technical issues
