A military veteran is a current or ex-service person who has served a minimum of one day in the Armed Forces: the Army, Royal Navy (Royal Marines) and Royal Air Force. This includes National Servicemen, Regulars and Reserves.
We know that you have gained valuable skills during your service, including personal development, problem solving, decision making, commitment, teamwork and discipline.
These skills reflect the graduate attributes our students gain during their time studying with us.
We can support you into higher education through our wide range of short courses and undergraduate degree programmes, as well as helping you to develop your skills further through postgraduate study.
We offer a range of student support to enhance your study skills and a wide variety of opportunities for personal development through extracurricular activities.
We are approved by the Ministry of Defence's Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme (ELC).
The scheme provides financial support for service personnel and service leavers who wish to further their education.
If the short course or degree programme you wish to study is not listed on the Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service website, contact us so that we can request it to be added.

Students from Scotland may be eligible for Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) funding for an undergraduate degree, or for a student loan for a postgraduate degree.
