Our Open Days are a great opportunity to find out about studying with us from our staff and students.

Our next Open Days

Our next undergraduate Open Days will take place at the University on:

  • Monday 22 June
  • Saturday 26 September
  • Saturday 24 October

Booking open for June

A booking is required for our Open Days in 2026. Booking is now open for our University-wide Open Day on 22 June, and the additional ECA Open Day on 1 June.

We recommend that you do not make travel arrangements or book transport until your place at the event has been confirmed.


Open Day programme

Most Open Day activities will take place between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm.

Edinburgh College of Art Open Day

Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) will be participating in the University Open Days and will hold an additional Open Day on Monday 1 June 2026 to coincide with the ECA Graduate Show. 

Open Days in September and October

Booking for our Open Days on 26 September and 24 October will open later this year; we expect in late August.

We recommend that you do not make travel arrangements until your place at an event has been confirmed. If you choose to do so before you have a confirmed place, we cannot guarantee space at some Open Day activities if they become fully booked.

If an event is cancelled

We will explore all options to avoid cancelling on-campus events. However, there may be rare occasions where events or sessions are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. 

We are unable to accept liability for any costs you might incur, such as travel or accommodation. Therefore, you may wish to consider travel insurance or flexible tickets.
