Your programme begins with a broad grounding of topics across Earth science and the environment. It balances data science, programming, and computing skills with traditional field and laboratory skills, along with a knowledge of geography and Earth science.

Our (MEarthSci) Earth Science and Physical Geography allows you to combine your understanding of both physical geography and Earth processes to address global challenges. It balances data science, programming, and computing skills with traditional field and laboratory skills, along with a knowledge of geography and Earth science.

All species are related in a common phylogenetic tree. The diverse and extraordinary adaptations that allow organisms to function have evolved through natural selection. You will learn evolutionary biology principles and how to apply them to a variety of topics including geology, plant and animal breeding and computer science.

Gain a broad grounding in physical geography and Earth processes to address global challenges. Balance data science, programming, and computing skills with traditional field and laboratory skills, alongside knowledge of geography and Earth science. You will complete additional research training and an independent research project in Year 5.
