Scotland full-time student fees

The Scotland fee rate is subject to government limits. Your fees may increase each year, whether you are a continuing student or a new entrant, in line with these government limits.

If you normally live in Scotland and you’re studying full-time for your first degree, you may be eligible for your tuition fees to be paid by the Scottish Government for your full period of study.

Rest of UK, including Republic of Ireland and Channel Islands (RUK) full-time student fees

The RUK fee rate increased in November 2026 in line with the Government’s revision of the tuition fee cap.

The UK Government has confirmed that the fee cap will continue to increase each year to reflect inflation. Your tuition fees will increase in line with the Government fee cap each year, and you should take this into consideration when budgeting.

International full-time student fees

If you are an Overseas/International taught student studying full-time over multiple years, you will:

  • not be affected by the annual tuition fee increase
  • be charged a fixed annual fee based on your start date

If you are given direct entry into Year 2 or Year 3, you will be charged the same annual rate as the year group that you join.
